Right Now -Or What to Do if You Don't Have Any Other Post Ideas

I stole this from my friend Kristin who apparently stole it from others, who stole it from others, etc.  Thank you Kristin, et. al., for the blog post idea. :o)

Right now I am:

Watching:  Scrubs Season 7

Eating:  The last thing I ate was an Insomnia Cookies' Chocolate Chip Cookie

Drinking:  Probably Diet Dr. Pepper, really anytime you ask me ever.

Wearing:  The Encounter T-shirt from this year.  Headed to bed and it's comfy!

Listening to:  Elton John's "Levon" (which is one of my favorite songs, and it just came up on my shuffle.  sweet.) Oh wait, it just transitioned to "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, which just doesn't seem to get old, even though its protagonist does

Avoiding:  unloading the dishwasher, because that will lead to having to do the thing I'm even more avoiding, loading the dishwasher

Feeling:  Great.  Same ol' Same ol'

Missing:  Some great friends that I wish were still in Columbia!  (That's you Christi's Now-Not-Senior Bible Study... City High Y'all).

Thankful:  That even though I was in a fender bender today, no one was hurt, and life moves on

Weather:  Uh, it's been so gross, chilly, and rainy in Cola the past few days

Praying:  Just been telling the Lord I love Him lately.  Sometimes you've got to get that off your chest before other things.

Needing:  To go to bed (after loading the dishwasher).  But really, like a lot of new donors for my ministry

Thinking:  about how I'm going to get the books I accidentally had shipped to my G-ma's in WV down here to SC; she called me tonight and said one of them showed up in a "vanilla envelope"

Loving:  Being outside at night!  The past 3 night's I've had this weird impulse to hang out outside at night.  Seriously, Saturday and Sun night I went for runs in the dark and then on Sunday night tonight I sat outside in our lawn furniture.  It's these great crisp nights!  Boo for the dreary, chilly days though.

If you haven't found a blog home of your own yet, but you would like to answer one of these questions, leave it in the comments.  Mi casa es su casa for this one.

I have no blog of my own, but seeing how I am now a night owl with a new baby, I'm going to answer these :)
Watching: the minutes go by on the clock and thinking I should really be sleeping.

Eating: the last thing I had tonight was a Granny Smith apple

Drinking: just finished a sweet tea from McDonald's

Wearing: an old crusade shirt and sweatpants, perfect sleeping clothes :)

Listening to: (on the baby monitor) my sweet baby girl Emma trying to go to sleep. She takes a few minutes to "cry it out" but as I'm typing this she is already asleep.

Avoiding: cleaning out the basement shower. We had a mishap with the food disposal and somehow it came up the drain... Yuck... But at least it wasn't sewer stuff.

Feeling: sleepy, but thankful for this season of life and our new family of three :)

    Missing: my hubby, boo nightshift

Thankful: sweet Emma and a wonderful husband

Weather: nice and warm, like any typical January day.... wait, what? :)

Praying: about jobs, and truly desiring what is holy

Needing: to go to sleep since I need to feed a little fuel in about an hour and a half :)

Thinking: about how I watch too much TV and don't read as much as I should/want to. May just stop watching it altogether. I just need to be disciplined enough to hit the off button.

Loving: being a mom, even though it is probably the most challenging thing I have ever done, God is definitely showing me a lit through this and I love taking care of her.

  2. And by feeding a little fuel I mean feeding a little girl, thank you auto correct

  3. Thanks for sharing Kristin! I really want to meet Emma sometime. :o)

And I was wondering about feeding the 'fuel.' It's okay, because my auto-correct has recent changed "goodbye" to "good butt" and "hey girl" to "hey Turkmenistan." ;o)
