I've been walking past my rack of purses for weeks now knowing I need to clean them out. Today I finally got on it! |
For funsies, I've included a list of things found in this season's treasure hunt. This does not include things in my current purse, wallet, or work bag. It also doesn't include the bag of disc-golf discs pictured. This is only things flying loose in purses I'm not currently using.
- 57 receipts (including 4 receipts with Chick-fil-a surveys for a free sandwich. Win!)
- 4 coupons
- 1 airline baggage tag
- $6.68 in loose change and bills
- 1 pair sunglasses
- 20 bookmarks with the books of the Bible on them
- 4 pens
- 1 pink marker
- 1 owl eraser
- Halls cough drops
- 1 piece orange candy
- 1 tube chapstick
- 3 lists (grocery and to-do)
- 1 pack 100 calorie Mini-Fudge Stripes
- 2 packs tissues
- 1 pair socks
- Tums
- Advil
- Tylenol
- 1 Quote from my old Office Daily Calendar: Michael: "I don't know what the best plan is, Pam. Oh, God. My mind is going a mile an hour." Pam: "That fast?"
- 2 name tags from past Cru events, still in the name tag holders. (Sorry Kristin!)
- 4 books about Lebanese Arabic
- 1 case for mini-DVDs for my camcorder
- The handout from last April's World-Wide Day of Prayer
- 1 old prayer letter
- The program from First Pres's Spiritual Life Conference in January
- 6 hair bands
- 5 hair clips
- a 4 GB SD card
- a roll of scotch tape
- 1 wing nut from my crutches
- a map of the Ridgecrest Conference Center
- 1 days notes from staff meeting
- 1 small notepad
- Umbrella
- 1 cell-phone case
I was mostly excited about the money, the umbrella (I've been looking for that thing!), and the pens (I'm a pen snob. I only like a certain type of pen, and I'm always glad to come across more).
Ladies, if would like to write about your own purse-purge and don't have a blog of your own, feel free to post in my comments section. Mi casa es su casa for this one!
I need to do this, too. Lord only knows what I'd find. d have to say you're a pretty good purse hoarder, lol. :) But it happens to the best of us. I can empathize.
